Abstract

The need of this special issue was to publish high-quality research articles
reporting original research as well as review articles that highlight chal-
lenges in system performance and its related modeling so as to provide new
initiatives and solutions for meeting those challenges.
After circulating the Call for Papers for this special issue, we finalized
around 5 papers revolving around the theme of the proposal.
The compilation now revolves around talking about the state and
prospects of the development of the express diagnostic system to assess
the effectiveness of complex systems. It also provides a software reliability
growth model that incorporates features enhancement attributes. Another
idea presented in the collection comprises of the role of irregular testing in
scientific conclusions followed by a proposal ending up with the concept of
simulation.
